Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics position in Colorado, requiring an active CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of perinatal nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts
• 13-week contract
• Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing; housing costs in the area are notably high, particularly in winter
• More affordable housing options may be found in surrounding towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs

Requirements

• Active RN license in the State of Colorado (CO or compact) required prior to start date
• Minimum of 1 year of perinatal RN experience required
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider), AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM), and STABLE Learner
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
