Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) role in a Long-Term Care (LTC) management setting, requiring an active ND or compact RN license and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Post-acute / long-term care management setting
Interim Director of Nursing role with responsibility to cover floor shifts as needed
Day shift, 8-hour shifts
13-week contract
Serve as interim DON, overseeing nursing operations within a long-term care facility
Must be prepared to step into a floor nursing role as needed to support staffing
Computerized charting system in use (specific EMR not listed)

Requirements

Active ND or compact RN license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
LTC or post-acute care experience required
Ability to work the floor as needed to cover clinical shifts in addition to leadership duties
