Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract at a Level I or Level II trauma hospital in Portland, ME, requiring a minimum of 2 years of CT experience.
Details
- CT Scan department within a radiology setting serving acute and trauma patients, including Emergency Department and inpatient cases
- Equipment includes GE Revolution CT and GE Discovery HD CT scanners
- EMR systems used: Epic and IMPAX
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- No call requirements
- No float requirements within the unit; however, a 25-mile float policy between facilities may apply as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience; 3 years preferred
- ARRT and CT certifications required
- Maine State Professional License required if applicable
- Level I or Level II trauma CT experience required
- Experience with acute and trauma patient populations
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide essential CT imaging services supporting the Emergency Department and inpatient units on the Bramhall campus
- Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and are comfortable managing trauma and other high-stress situations
- Strong team collaboration skills are essential
- Professional scrubs in any appropriate color are required; t-shirts with non-organization or non-profession-related wording are not permitted
- Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility in Maine or New Hampshire are considered local and may be subject to a different pay rate structure
- Local candidates are not eligible for renewals or extensions
- Travel pairs or groups are not permitted for this assignment
- Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this information
