Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for a 13-week OR travel assignment requiring active Oregon RN licensure and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
Details
- Operating room (OR) circulator role within a perioperative services department
- Serves all patient populations across the perioperative continuum
- Day shift schedule
- On-call responsibilities required on a regularly scheduled rotation for the Surgery Unit
- Travelers may be floated to other departments where qualified before core staff is floated
Requirements
- Active RN license in the State of Oregon currently in hand
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Prior RN circulator and/or scrub experience preferred
- Peri-op 101 course completion preferred
Additional Information
- Serves as patient advocate throughout the intraoperative and perioperative phases of care, ensuring safety, dignity, and confidentiality
- Responsibilities include surgical counts, specimen management, correct-site verification, medication administration, and infection prevention interventions
- Accurately documents all nursing care provided during surgical procedures
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members and applies conflict resolution skills to maintain effective working relationships
- CNOR and Peri-op 101 are preferred credentials; CRASE training will be required if the assignment extends beyond 6 months
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
