Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Wilson, NC.

Details

• Work in a single-lab Cardiac Cath Lab at a 294-bed, Joint Commission Accredited hospital in Wilson, NC
• Adult and geriatric patient population with common diagnoses including CAD, PAD, NSTEMI, PE, and DVT
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Equipment includes GE Innova X-ray and Merge Hemo
• Meditech EHR — experience preferred
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
• Every other weekend required
• Float requirement to Interventional Radiology per facility policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Current ACLS required; RRT or RCIS required
• Rad Tech or RCIS education/credential required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in Cath Lab scrubbing required; PCI and peripheral intervention experience preferred
• Must be able to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures with exposure to PCI and peripheral interventions in a fast-paced single-lab environment
• Scrubs are provided
• Orientation is conducted bi-weekly
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates must not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• COVID vaccination card required
