Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience and RCIS certification for a 13-week acute care assignment in a single-lab cardiac cath and interventional setting.

Responsibilities

• Acute care cardiac cath lab setting with 1 procedure room
• Lab performs cardiac cath and intervention, IR, and neuro thrombectomy procedures
• Accredited STEMI center
• Uses Philips imaging, Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS, and Epic for charting
• 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call required every other weekend and a few evenings per week
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible — candidates who worked PRN through outside firms will be considered
• 12-hour orientation provided at the start of assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
• Active BLS certification required
• Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification via CCI required — pending certifications not accepted
• Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable — pending licenses not accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• A valid driver's license is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
