Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical unit position requiring at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency, working 3x12 night shifts with every-other-weekend requirements.

Details

• Medical-Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical cases
• May care for COVID-positive patients
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis
• Floating to other departments required on an as-needed basis
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess clinical fit prior to manager consideration
• Manager interview is required
• Maximum of 7 days of time off for the duration of the contract; all time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
