Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical/OR position requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and valid MO or Compact RN license.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital surgical/operating room (OR) unit
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call required Monday–Friday from 3:30 PM–7:00 AM and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–7:00 AM when scheduled
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of OR/perioperative nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Current ACLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Experience with the facility's EMR system required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivery of direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults
• Coordinates patient care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist, and directs OR Technicians and other support personnel
• Reports directly to the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services
• Participates in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services
