Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a night shift weekend position in a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Located in the Diagnostic Radiology department on the 3rd floor of the main hospital building
• Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, weekends
• Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence
• Unit is staffed by 6 CT/Diagnostic Radiology Technologists on the night shift
• Equipment includes 3 GE CT scanners (GE Revolution 512-slice, GE Evolution 128-slice, GE Frontier 128-slice), GE Digital Portable X-Ray units, OEC C-Arms including Digital C-Arm, and a new GE Fluoroscopy room
• EMR: Meditech
• Procedures include CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, Trauma CT, Chest and Abdomen CT, Extremity CT, and Diagnostic X-Ray including some OR cases with C-Arms
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• License required if applicable
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, Trauma CT, and Diagnostic X-Ray procedures including OR cases with C-Arms
• Diagnostic Radiology experience, including OR and portable X-Ray skills, is preferred
• A self-starter with a positive attitude and collaborative mindset is the ideal personality fit
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
