  • Minimum 1 year of CVICU or cardiovascular ICU patient population experience required
  • BSN is not required
  • Experience with Impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO strongly implied by patient population
  • Ability to independently read and interpret cardiac monitor strips required
  • Driver's license required for consideration — used to verify candidate resides more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

  • Unit-specific orientation consists of 2 shifts, followed by a facility-wide orientation that includes a pass/fail open-book skills exam (90% required to pass)
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments — refusal to comply will result to contract termination
  • RTO must be disclosed upfront; limited to 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract — additional RTO will not be approved
