Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a PCU Float position requiring prior travel experience, at least 2 years of nursing experience, and the ability to float across multiple units including ED obs, med/surg, PCU, and rehab.

Details

• Float position covering ED observation, med/surg, PCU, and rehabilitation units
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Weekend work is required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, with at least 1 year in a PCU or telemetry specialty
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides float coverage across ED observation, med/surg, PCU, and rehab units
• Holiday coverage required for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront
• Rotating shifts may be required
