Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of hospital CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a travel assignment at an acute care facility in Michigan.

Details

• Computerized Tomography (CT) department within an acute care hospital setting
• May float to a sister hospital nearby
• 12-hour overnight rotating shifts: weekends 6:00 PM–6:30 AM and weekdays 11:30 PM–12:00 AM
• Candidates must have full schedule flexibility — no blocked scheduling
• 3 days per week, 36 hours per week, 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience in a hospital setting
• Associate's degree in Applied Science in Radiology or equivalent
• Active ARRT registration with advanced CT registry certification
• Active Michigan state license required — license required if applicable
• BLS certification from the AHA required
• Peripheral IV insertion experience required, or willingness to obtain training
• Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• Responsible for performing CT scans including IV contrast administration via power injectors and monitoring patients for contrast reactions
• Assists radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies
• Performs imaging with adherence to ALARA radiation protection principles
• Manages image delivery and exception resolution within PACS, and completes study indexing in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
• May transport patients to and from the Emergency Department
• Online orientation modules must be completed onsite prior to start date, typically one week in advance
• COVID vaccination is mandatory for this assignment
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration; requests after offer acceptance will be reviewed once the assignment begins
