Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology/Cardiology EP Technologist with ARRT certification and EP Lab experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, OH.

Details

• Fast-paced electrophysiology lab environment with 4 procedural rooms averaging 20 cases per day
• Rad techs scrub approximately 80% of cases
• Non-invasive and invasive EP procedures performed, requiring knowledge of arrhythmia monitoring, cardiac anatomy, and sterile technique
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• Every other holiday required
• Call coverage includes 2 weeknight calls per pay period (5:30 PM – 7:30 PM) and weekend call (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) for up to 4 weekends per assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of intraprocedural radiologic technologist experience
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT certification required
• ODH Ohio Radiologic License required if applicable
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology
• Competency as an assistant to an Electrophysiologist for EP procedures
• Knowledge of X-ray equipment, arrhythmia monitoring, cardiac chamber anatomy, and sterile technique

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH to qualify for travel pay rates

• Assist Electrophysiologists with a high volume of non-invasive and invasive EP procedures including scrubbing cases
