Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mobile MRI Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital in Charleston, SC.

Details

Mobile MRI Tech role within a large 865-bed academic teaching hospital designated as both Magnet and Level 1 Trauma
Night shifts scheduled 4x10 hours, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Holiday coverage required when holidays fall on a scheduled shift
No on-call required
Floating within clinical scope may be required to meet facility needs
Charting via Epic
Teal top and black bottom scrubs required

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
BLS (AHA) and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
SC license required if applicable
Siemens MRI equipment experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are accepted for this position
Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; approval is based on manager and unit needs
Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date
During hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
