Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of radiology experience for a night shift position in an acute care hospital setting.
Details
- Acute care inpatient hospital setting, working across departments including NICU, CCU, and ED
- Monday through Thursday night shifts, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent
- Active ARRT R.T.(R) and advanced CT registry R.T.(CT) required
- Current AHA BLS required
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience as a registered technologist
- 1 year of CT experience in a Level I or II trauma center preferred
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Performs CT exams and procedures, modifying technical settings and scanning parameters to optimize image quality and minimize patient exposure
- Performs routine quality control inspections and maintenance on CT scanner per manufacturer and organizational guidelines
- Completes documentation required for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
- Assists radiologists and medical staff during exams and procedures
- Works independently in a complex, high-acuity inpatient environment
- On-call availability may be required based on organizational and patient needs
- Position may require working beyond a standard schedule, including varied shifts
