Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment at an acute care facility in Atlanta, GA, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and offering day shifts on a 3x12 schedule.
Details
- Nuclear Medicine department in an acute care hospital setting
- 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call required
- Floating within facility/scope of practice and to outpatient as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Tech experience
- Active professional licensure required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- Copies of all applicable certifications required for consideration
- Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurse references not accepted) are highly preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
- Holiday coverage is required: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a full year before returning as a traveler
- No alternate shift requests or schedule changes are permitted; the posted shift is firm
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time; delays may result in a two-week pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
