Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU travel position requiring Cerner EMR proficiency and a TN or Compact RN license.

Details

Neuro Critical Care ICU setting within a hospital environment
Patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Requires 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period (Friday and Saturday nights)
Floating to Medical Critical Care may be required based on facility needs
Block scheduling can be accommodated
Cerner EMR used; experience is required

Requirements

Active RN license — TN state or Compact license required; no pending licenses accepted
Minimum 2 years of Neuro Critical Care RN experience required
Required certifications: ACLS and Stroke certification
Cerner EMR experience required — no exceptions
Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holiday blocks: Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve & Day, or New Year's Eve & Day
No on-call requirements
Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible
Two professional references required
