Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic EHR proficiency for a 13-week day shift contract in Gunnison, Colorado.

Details

Rehabilitation therapy setting focused on physical therapy
Day shift schedule
Orthopedic physical therapy cases are the primary focus
Epic EHR used; experience is required

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience
BS or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current BLS/BCLS certification required
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Colorado state PT license; license required if applicable
Epic EHR experience required
Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle, as the Gunnison area does not have public transportation

Additional Information

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes
Treatment is guided by The Guide to Physical Therapy Practice, the Colorado State Practice Act, and patient insurance parameters
Orthopedic PT experience is preferred, though new graduates and specialists who meet business needs may be considered
Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background check is required
Position is located in a rural mountain community; reliable personal transportation is essential
