Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist at an acute care hospital STEMI and stroke receiving center, requiring a minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Details

Acute care hospital setting located beachside with 4 cath labs
STEMI and stroke receiving center supporting cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology
Procedures include TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro, and IR
May float between specialties within the lab
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
On-call required on weekdays and weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Variable start times possible
Charts in Epic (required)

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in a cath lab setting
Current BLS and ACLS required
ARRT or RCIS certification required
Fluoroscopy permit required
State license required if applicable (pending license not accepted)
Epic EMR experience required
Stroke and/or IR experience preferred
EP and structural heart experience not required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Scrubs are provided for cath lab staff
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
SSN and DOB required for consideration
Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application — post-offer RTO requests may be denied
Block schedule requests are subject to manager discretion
Holiday coverage expectations may apply given weekday and weekend call requirements
