Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week inpatient rehab travel assignment in Henderson, NC.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation unit at a Joint Commission accredited, Duke LifePoint hospital with 205 licensed beds
• 11-bed inpatient rehab unit serving adult and geriatric patients
• Common diagnoses include CVA, amputations, multi-trauma, traumatic hip fractures, and debility
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 36 hours per week; Saturdays only for weekend shifts, no more than 8 hours
• No on-call requirements
• Float to acute care setting on a PRN basis; intermittent acute care coverage may be required
• EMR: Paragon Clinical Carestation
• Lift equipment available on the unit

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• BS degree or higher in Physical Therapy required
• Current PT license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced inpatient rehab environment
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

• Preferred experience includes neuro, geriatrics, orthopedics, home modification planning, and family education
• Ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, outgoing, and detail-oriented
• Orientation dates are scheduled on specific dates throughout the year — confirm your start date aligns with the next available orientation
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable; jeans, leggings, t-shirts, and large graphics are not permitted
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
