Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist for a hospital-based inpatient rehab unit, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active SC or Multi-State Compact PT license.

Details

• Hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation unit with 28 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule, 5x8s, 8:00am–4:30pm
• One weekend shift required per month
• Holiday coverage may be required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating to other units or sister facilities required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient physical therapy experience required
• Active SC or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist license required at the start of the contract — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; approval is based on facility needs
• Pewter scrubs required
