Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of acute care experience for a 13-week travel contract at a medical center in Northern Nevada.

• Acute care hospital setting
• Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PT experience in a U.S. hospital acute care setting
• Active PT license required (no pending licenses accepted); license required if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required
• CPI certification required
• U.S. SSN required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two supervisor or manager references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient evaluation, individualized program planning, and administration of physical therapy treatment across all patient populations
• Develops age-appropriate plans of care based on PT evaluation findings, following physician referral
• Accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment is expected
• Must be adaptable and responsive to new and changing work assignments
• Functions as part of an interdisciplinary care team
