Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with scrub experience and at least 1-2 years of IR experience for a 13-week assignment at a major academic medical center in New Orleans.

Details

  • Interventional Radiology unit at a large academic health system in New Orleans, LA
  • 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • On-call required with a 30-minute response time
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of IR experience required; candidates with 1 year of experience will be considered if they have both neuro IR and scrub experience
  • Scrub experience required
  • Prior travel experience required
  • Neuro IR experience is a plus but not required
  • All certifications must be AHA-issued
  • License required if applicable
  • Candidates must live 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

  • In the event of a declared emergency, staff may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility or serve as part of a relief team until the event has passed
  • RTO requests should be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
