Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) night shift position requiring a TN or Compact RN license, AHA certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• 36-hour weekly work commitment with rotating weekends and holidays
• Floating is required, including to Med/Surg with a 1:7 patient ratio
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — AHA-issued only
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the facility's service area — local candidates are not accepted

• Contract nurses are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their standard patient care duties
