Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience for a night shift position in an inpatient and outpatient CT setting, with experience in IV starts and contrast administration required.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient CT setting
- Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics, with rare neonatal and pediatric cases
- Uses Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR
- 4x10 hour night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend requirements depend on the shift posted
- May float to a sister campus hospital approximately 3 miles away
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience
- Active BLS and ARRT certifications required
- IV start, PACS, and contrast administration skills required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- RTO is capped at 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
- RTO blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4–12)
- Holiday coverage is expected: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them — major holidays include New Year's Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve/Day
- Travelers must have been away from all system facilities for a full year before returning as a traveler
- Scrubs color is Caribbean Blue
- Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred for consideration
- Candidates will undergo a clinical pre-screen to assess clinical fit prior to manager review
- No schedule change requests or alternate shift requests are permitted — the posted night shift is firm
