Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Lewiston, ID, requiring 4 years of recent ER experience and an active Idaho RN license.

Details

  • Emergency Department (ER) setting within a hospital
  • Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract
  • Every other weekend required

Requirements

  • Active Idaho RN license (or Compact RN license) required and must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC — no certifications accepted from RCIS or RQI, and none may expire within 30 days of start date
  • Minimum 4 years of recent ER experience in a hospital setting required
  • SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Responsible for shift accountability in delivering evidence-based nursing care to Emergency Department patients using the nursing process
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and clinical judgment in the safe planning and delivery of patient care
  • Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel
  • Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
  • No previous permanent or contract employment at a Community Health facility should be disclosed during the consideration process
