Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP position at a 400+ bed hospital, requiring 4+ years of interventional cardiac and scrub experience with an active MA RN license.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab/EP unit with 2 procedure rooms in a 400+ bed hospital setting
• Adult patient population
• Procedures include PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implantation, and ablations
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00am–5:30pm
• On-call requirement of 7 nights per month: one full weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) plus 4 additional nights
• No floating required
• EMR: Epic (Cupid module); Epic charting experience expected
• Free on-site parking and a brand new on-site call room available

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• Minimum 4 years of Cath Lab/EP experience required
• Interventional cardiac and scrub experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• Active MA RN license must be verified through both NURSYS and BON

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures including PCI, device implants, and ablations
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and will receive a reduced travel pay rate
• All certifications must be AHA-issued — no other providers accepted for this location
• RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of consideration
• 13-week contract
