Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per day
Epic EMR used for charting
Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
Required certifications (all must be AHA-issued and valid through the start of the assignment): BLS, ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate for the unit
Additional specialty certification preferred
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
RTO requests must be disclosed upfront at time of consideration
