Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience, Epic proficiency, and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit at a hospital setting in Colorado
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per day
• 13-week contract
• Epic used for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to assignment start
• ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate for unit required — must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start
• Associate's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
• Performs health teaching, health counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and specialty certification preferred but not required
