Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an IMC/PCU position requiring at least 2 years of experience including 1 year of travel nursing, with telemetry and critical care background.

Details

• Intermediate Care Unit (IMC/PCU) in a hospital setting with 24 staffed beds and an average daily census of 24
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required — pending licenses are not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and completion of an EKG/Telemetry course
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Current critical care and telemetry experience required
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months are required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• First-time travelers are not eligible — at least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience is required
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout date requests will be accepted
