Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Portsmouth, NH, requiring an active NH or Compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience in a procedural, critical care, or emergency department setting.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit located on the 1st floor of an acute care hospital
• Unit consists of 2 IR suites (Single Plane and Bi-Plane) staffed by 5 nurses and 5 techs
• Typical procedures include EKOS, angiograms, Trevo, cerebral coiling, and biopsies
• Equipment used includes Philips Bi-Plane, GE Monitoring, and GE Mac Lab
• EMR: Meditech
• Shift hours are 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 1 call night per week
• 1 weekend shift required per month
• No floating required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Experience in a procedural department, critical care, ED, or with moderate sedation is required
• Interventional Radiology or cardiac cath lab experience preferred
• Moderate sedation experience preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Candidates must be willing and able to respond on-call as needed
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Ideal candidate is self-directed and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
