Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Portsmouth, NH, requiring at least 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience and current ARRT certification.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department located on the 1st floor of a main hospital building
• Unit consists of 2 IR suites staffed by 4 IR nurses and 4 IR techs
• Average of 10 patients per room
• Procedures include PICC lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, port placement, ablations, ESI, EKOS for PE, and Trevo for stroke
• Equipment includes Philips biplane and Toshiba single-plane systems
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• On-call coverage required every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weeknight per week

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience required, with active experience within the last 6 months
• Current ARRT certification required
• NH state license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Professional reference required (quantity may vary by candidate's state of residence)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• IR Neuro experience is a plus and will be given priority consideration
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
