Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Batesville, AR, requiring 2+ years of OR experience and the ability to circulate across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Work in a Level III Trauma hospital OR with 11 beds in the unit
• Surgical specialties include GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Vascular
• Patient population spans pediatric through geriatric
• 1:1 RN-to-patient ratio
• EMR: MediTech
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• On-call required approximately 3-4 shifts per month, including one 24-hour weekend call shift per month

Requirements

• Active AR RN license or Compact RN license (must be verifiable through Nursys)
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Must be able to circulate in GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Vascular
• MediTech EMR experience required
• Experience with pediatric through geriatric patient populations required
• Skills checklist current within the last year (OR specialty) required for consideration
• 2 supervisory reference forms taken within the last 2 years required for consideration
• Permanent address required for consideration

Additional Information

• Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve desired patient outcomes
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of Batesville, AR are not eligible for this position; candidates residing between 90-150 miles may be reviewed but are not guaranteed consideration
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
