Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Neuro position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of neuro stepdown experience and night shift availability.

Details

Hospital-based Stepdown Neuro unit
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty prior to any travel assignments
Minimum 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience required (travel experience counts toward this requirement)
PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
Travelers may work at any facility location for no more than 18 consecutive months, with a minimum 6-month break required before starting another assignment at any location within the same health system
