Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring CNMT or ARRT (N) certification and at least 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital Nuclear Medicine department
- General Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures performed
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to meet department needs
- No weekend shift requirement and no floating requirement
- On-call rotation required with a 1-hour response time; on-call hours are Monday through Friday 4:00 PM–7:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Cerner EMR used in this position
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
- ISDOH, CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- NMTCB (PET) certification required
- License required if applicable
- PET/CT registration and/or experience preferred
- Y-90 Microsphere Therapy experience preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT duties
- PET experience is preferred but not required; candidates will be expected to learn PET scanning during the assignment
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position; candidates residing between 50 and 100 miles are welcome to apply
