Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in CT and X-Ray, including outpatient and ED settings, for an evening-shift contract position.

Details

• Outpatient and ED imaging setting serving adult and pediatric patients
• CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction, cardiac CT (pulmonary vein CT, cardiac calcium scores, and perfusion studies)
• X-Ray procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Requires starting approximately 8–9 IVs per day
• Uses Siemens CT equipment (required), Samsung X-Ray (preferred), PACS, and portable X-Ray
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• 4x8 hour evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• May occasionally be asked to float to other facilities

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (R) required
• Current BLS required
• Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and ED imaging experience required
• Proficiency with PACS, portable X-Ray, and Siemens CT equipment required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred
• Must be able to perform both CT and X-Ray examinations
• Must be able to start IVs independently
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• The facility maintains a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
