Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week overnight contract in Anchorage, AK, requiring ARRT & MR registration with at least 2 years of experience.
Details
- Located in the Radiology Department of an approximately 185-bed acute care hospital in Anchorage, AK
- Monday through Thursday overnight shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM (4x10.5-hour shifts)
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Procedures include MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast, MRCP, defecography, anesthesia cases, and pacemaker imaging
- Equipment used: GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI scanner
- EMR: Epic; PACS: McKesson
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required; 3+ years preferred
- Active ARRT certification with MR registration required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Active license required if applicable
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Allied candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Ideal candidates are self-starters who are patient-centered, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality imaging
- Grey or pewter scrubs required
