Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU/PCU Nights position at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active WA RN license.

Details

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
• ICU/PCU unit with responsibilities spanning Telemetry and Med-Surg areas
• Night shift schedule
• Floating to the Med-Surg Unit (MSU) required as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA state RN license or compact license (must be currently active)
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Experience across ICU, PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg settings required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient and family education, patient safety measures (restraints, side rails, equipment safety), infection control, and isolation procedures
• Accurate and timely documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, physician orders, and charge capture is expected
• Responsibilities include 24-hour order checks (when applicable to assigned shift), change-of-shift reporting, and critical lab value communication to physicians
• Maintains and restocks emergency carts and general unit supplies
