Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down / Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience and a night shift schedule.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Med-Surg Step Down unit (7E)
• Traveler may be placed on a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on greatest need and individual skill set
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set onsite or to sister sites within a 40-mile radius

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care experience required
• Current BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• Current ACLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Both Med-Surg and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing requirements are the same for both
• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copies of certifications, license verification/Nursys, and a Driver's License are required for consideration
• COVID vaccination is not required
