Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care hospital radiology department, requiring 2+ years of experience, ARRT (CT) certification, and Epic proficiency.

Details

Acute care hospital setting within the radiology department
Performs CT imaging for both adult and pediatric patient populations
2 CT Techs staffed on inpatient, 1 on outpatient
Uses Epic EMR along with Canon/Toshiba scanners and Fuji Synapse PACS
Monday through Friday, evening/night shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM (8-hour shifts)
Holiday coverage required as holidays fall on shift
No weekend or call requirements
Radiologist is in-house from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on-call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
ARRT (CT) certification required
WV state license required if applicable
Epic EMR experience
Must be able to start IVs
Valid driver's license with an address at least 50 miles from the facility
Driver's license copy required for consideration
2 references required: 1 supervisor reference and 1 peer or additional supervisor reference

Additional Information

Performs all CT imaging exams across inpatient and outpatient settings for adult and pediatric populations
No lead tech on site; department is overseen by a Radiology Director/Manager
Orientation is generally up to 2 weeks depending on modality
Black scrubs are required for all technologists
Radiation badge must be provided by the staffing agency, as the facility does not supply one
Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before returning
Travelers may not work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
Local candidates are not accepted; applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
