Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a Level I Trauma acute care hospital's Cardiac Cath Lab, with EP, IR, and Cath Lab case experience required.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 11 procedure labs and a Level I Trauma designation
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit handling EP, IR, and Cath Lab cases
• High-volume unit averaging 40–50 cases per day
• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call requirement of 4–5 shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month
• Charting performed in Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
• Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• RCIS certification via CCI required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• License required if applicable; active state or compact (NLC) licensure required — pending licenses will not be accepted
• A copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• 719-bed Level I Trauma facility
• Orientation is 12 hours
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
• Daily parking is $15+ per day, with monthly pass options ranging from $95–$120 for on- and off-campus garages and lots
