Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Invasive Cardiology (Cardiac Cath Lab) position in Ohio, requiring Cath Lab experience and advanced hemodynamic monitoring skills including IABP and Impella.

Details

• Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within a hospital environment
• Critically ill cardiac patients undergoing Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular procedures
• Shift hours: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 8:00 AM–6:00 PM depending on assignment
• Holiday and on-call shifts assigned by unit rotation
• STEMI call rotation required with a 30-minute on-site response time and a minimum 4-hour callback
• EMR systems used: Epic, Xper, and Change Healthcare

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Preoperative and postoperative patient care experience required
• Experience with patient monitoring and procedural sedation required
• Proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring devices including IABP and Impella required
• Ventilator management experience required
• Ability to lift 250–300 lbs with assistance and push/pull up to 500 lbs with assistance

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients undergoing Invasive Cardiology and Endovascular procedures in the Cath Lab
• Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning products is part of the work environment
• 13-week contract
