Description
American Traveler is seeking a Spanish-fluent Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient experience for an 18-week contract at an outpatient clinic in Phoenix, AZ.
Details
- Outpatient physical therapy setting with a focus on high-risk patient populations
- Manageable caseload of 8–10 patients per day with dedicated 1-on-1 patient care
- Built-in documentation time is provided to support work-life balance
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekend requirement
- 18-week contract
- Uses Elation EMR for charting
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required
- DPT degree or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program required
- Active Arizona PT license or the ability to obtain one required; AZ license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Experience with computer-based EMR systems and Microsoft Office required
- Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups
- SNF and/or geriatric experience is a plus
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include 1-on-1 evaluation and treatment of high-risk outpatient populations
- Supportive and collaborative team environment
- Interviews are scheduled on Tuesdays or Fridays
- Scrubs are provided or candidates may wear black scrubs
- This assignment has potential to convert to a permanent hire for interested candidates
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
- All time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of submission
