Description
American Traveler is seeking a bilingual (Spanish-fluent) Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient experience for an 18-week contract in Tucson, AZ working Monday–Friday in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Details
- Outpatient PT setting with a focus on high-risk and geriatric patient populations
- Caseload of up to 8–10 patients per day with built-in documentation time
- Care model is dedicated 1-on-1 with an emphasis on strong work-life balance
- Position requires floating approximately 50/50 between two nearby clinic locations roughly 5 miles apart
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; no weekend requirement
- 18-week contract
- EMR: Elation (experience preferred)
- Local candidates are welcome at the same rate
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient PT experience required; SNF or geriatrics experience is a plus
- DPT degree or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program required
- Active Arizona PT license or ability to obtain one required; AZ license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Must be comfortable presenting or speaking in front of groups
- Proficiency with computer-based EMR systems and Microsoft Office required

- Responsibilities include 1-on-1 evaluation and treatment of high-risk outpatient patients with a manageable daily caseload
- Supportive, collaborative team environment where contributions are valued
- Scrubs are provided or candidates may wear black scrubs
- Interviews are conducted on Tuesdays or Fridays; please have availability ready
- There is potential for this travel assignment to convert to a permanent position for interested candidates
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
