Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rad Tech for a pediatric imaging unit at a newly built Level II trauma facility in Tacoma, WA, with first-time travelers welcome to apply.

Details

  • Work in the Imaging department of a 152-bed (including 70 NICU) Level II pediatric trauma facility
  • Patient population consists of pediatric patients ages 0–18 across all diagnoses
  • Equipment includes Siemens YSIO Xpree and Agile Max
  • 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on a 6-on/8-off rotation
  • Weekend rotation dependent upon shift taken
  • On-call may be required, limited to off-hours and weekends, not to exceed 24 hours per month
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of Rad Tech experience; pediatric experience preferred
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Current BLS required
  • Washington State license required if applicable
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and compassion when working with children and their families
  • Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Self-starter with strong multitasking abilities

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Perform diagnostic imaging on pediatric patients across a wide range of diagnoses and acuity levels
  • Two professional references required prior to start (supervisor level or above); one reference accepted at time of consideration
  • Any color scrubs permitted
