Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med-Surg Telemetry position at a hospital in Colorado, requiring 1 year of telemetry experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Med-Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting in Colorado
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school
• 1 year of telemetry or med-surg telemetry RN experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to assignment start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Epic EMR experience required
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing health data collection and assessment
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and refers patients as needed for further evaluation
• Documents nursing care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• BSN preferred
• Specialty certification preferred
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Any approved time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
