Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and an OH or compact RN license in hand.

Details

HVTI Step-Down unit within a large acute care hospital setting
Potential to float to other units (J1-2/E20IB, J33) and the ED for the same patient population
Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs of the unit

Requirements

Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 18 months of permanent (staff) experience in Step-Down or a comparable specialty prior to travel
Minimum 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required (travel experience acceptable)
PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

Additional Information

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to continue the assignment
Must work at least every other holiday
Travelers are limited to 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before starting a new assignment at any facility within the system
Two professional references are required for consideration
