Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a day shift position at an acute care facility in Maryland.
Details
- Work in a dedicated CT Scan department at an acute care hospital
- Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with a possible Sunday rotation
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 full years of CT Technologist experience required
- At least one prior travel assignment required
- ARRT certification required
- Active Maryland license required (license required if applicable)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Associate's degree or completion of a two-year occupationally specific program in Radiologic Technology required
- Experience at a comparable large acute care facility (500+ bed count) preferred
Additional Information
- Perform CT procedures and operate scanner and related equipment
- Counsel patients on radiographic procedures to be performed
- Assist physicians with biopsies and drainage procedures
- Obtain patient consent for intravenous injections
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One reference required for consideration
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
