Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Idaho Falls, ID, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of CT experience including trauma and stroke.

Details

  • CT Scan department within a 400-bed main hospital building
  • GE Optima 64-slice and GE Revolution EVO 64-slice scanners used
  • Meditech used for documentation
  • Department is staffed 24/7
  • Schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off, Wednesday through Tuesday, 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM
  • Four shifts per week, 40 hours per week
  • Floating within the department to cover open shifts as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
  • At least 1 year of CT trauma experience required
  • At least 1 year of CT stroke experience required
  • ARRT (CT) certification required
  • BLS (AHA or ARC) required — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
  • One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
  • License required if applicable
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

  • Experience with pediatric CT exams is preferred
  • Black scrubs are required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
