Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of acute care CT experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a Radiology - CT department, with potential for temp-to-perm conversion.
Details
- Radiology - CT department in an acute care hospital setting
- 897-bed Level II Trauma facility
- 10-hour evening shifts scheduled Sunday through Wednesday, 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 13-week contract with potential for temp-to-perm conversion after the initial assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in CT, with at least 2 years full-time in the specialty within the last 2 years
- Must have completed a minimum of 2 travel assignments in the past 12 months in a full-time, acute care setting
- Active ARRT (General Radiographer) certification required
- Advanced ARRT registry in CT required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Current EMR experience required
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners preferred
- Two professional references from the last two places of employment required for consideration, at least one of which must be from a Nurse Manager or Director; references must cover the last year of employment and include facility name, specialty, dates worked, supervisor name, bed count, trauma level, and travel status
- 7-year employment history required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment

- This position has potential for a temp-to-perm offer following the initial 13-week assignment; candidates should be prepared to discuss this opportunity
- Candidates who have previously worked at multiple facilities within the past year must provide a reference from each facility
- Employment histories with gaps of more than 30 days must include a written explanation
